What a thrilling, nail-biting match! Definitely worth staying up for, England didn’t disappoint us sacrificed a good night’s sleep to cheer them on!

☀️ Just a few more days before our summer break! 🩵

If you’d like to visit us before we head off, here’s our opening hours for the next few days:

☕ Friday 3 July: 9:30am – 3:00pm
❌ Saturday 4 July: Closed
☕ Sunday 5 July: 9:30am – 2:30pm
☕ Monday 6 July: 9:30am – 3:00pm (Our last trading day before our summer break!)

We’ll be closed from Tuesday 7 July to Tuesday 18 August, and we’ll reopen on Wednesday 19 August.

There’s still time to pop in for a coffee, brunch, or just a chat before we head off. See you over the next few days! ☕❤️

A Personal Message From Us ❤️

Dear customers,

Our café will be taking a summer break from 7 July to 18 August, and we will reopen on 19 August.

The reason is a very personal one : I’m going home to spend some time with my mum. I know that closing for six weeks may be inconvenient and may impact our business, but after all the love and sacrifices she has made for me throughout my life, I feel it’s important to be there for her every year.

Over the past year, you have been far more than customers to us. You’ve brought us flowers and bonsai tree, shared homemade shortbread and tomatoes from your gardens, and even offered us a lift home when our car broke down. Many of you have also taught me so much about life in the UK, sharing your knowledge, experiences, and local wisdom with me. I’ve learned more than you could ever imagine.

Your kindness and friendship have touched us more than words can say.

Thank you for making our first year so special. We will miss you all very much and look forward to seeing you again on 19 August.

After almost a year of staying closed on Saturdays, we have decided to trial Saturday openings for the next three weeks to see how it goes.

Saturday Opening Hours: 9:30am – 2:30pm
(Perfect for brunch, coffee, or takeaway!)
