Our Middle Eastern Meze extravaganza is shaping up to be one of our best supper clubs yet! We can't wait to welcome you for a very special evening:

💥4 our most beloved chefs are contributing both hot and cold dishes from there most beloved recipes. A killer meze and a feast for the eyes and tummy!
💥Ozi Meat Butchers; best new butchers located in Boscombe are providing all the meat for the bbq and will be BBQing for us!!!! Expect homemade koftas and chicken shish using the best quality meats.
💥Our guests are always super friendly, like-minded, and keen to make new connections and friends. We hope you will be one of them.
💥Garden games for. the children, chilled beats on our garden sound system, and plenty of fun in the sun

It’s a family affair! Please join us on July 9th, for a MIddle Eastern Feast for the whole family. A very special Garden Party where each of our Middle Eastern chefs will be bringing a dish (or two or three) from their home country lovingly prepared for all of us to share. You can expect delicious food from Kurdish Iraq, Iran, Syria, Bahrain, and Lebanon. We will enjoy a sumptuous banquet here in Our Kitchen and Garden (weather permitting) with music, garden games and a very warm and hospitable setting where you will be welcomed like family.

Middle Eastern food is famous for celebrating fresh seasonal produce where the star ingredients shine - nutritious, colourful, and delicious.

We hope to see you and your whole family for what’s sure to be a very fun and yummy evening :)

Our special guest Maryana, one of our most cherished chefs who has over 20 years experience in the profession, will be pairing some fantastic choices to some delicious foods from around the world. All the dishes are from our most popular menu choices from the last 3 years. Alongside, you will be introduced to specially selected wines that suit each dish. Learn how to pair wines to the right foods, get introduced to specially selected wines from around the world, and get inspired with new food ideas and wine choices for your next dinner party.

One of our most cherished chefs is a trained Sommelier. Maryana’s knowledge of sourcing, tasting and pairing spans a 20+ year career. She will personally select each wine to suit each tasting menu item. She will also be there to answer all questions about wine and give you some of her top tips when choosing.

Our last 3 supper clubs were sell outs. The evening will be inside / outside, weather permitting at our private kitchen tables. Be sure to sign up asap!

A beautiful week at JWK with a huge Nigerian cook-up! The smells and tastes were deep and flavourful. From roasted and pureed peanuts, smoked catfish, fermented and powdered crustaceans, and Ene's secret Suya sauce from Nigeria... it was a wonderful assault of the senses.

And a pleasure to host a birthday supper club where a group of pals enjoyed a special Nigerian menu curated by their host; the birthday girl.

WHO’S COOKING: ENE

The deep and fiery tastes of Nigerian traditional recipes are just as bold and beautiful as the culture itself. From the family secret spice mixes, to the many varieties of hot peppers, and the deeply satisfying savoury street food snacks, Nigerian food has become a JWK favourite.

And a privilege to cook with Ene for all of you! Ene brings a very relaxed yet professional energy to the kitchen. We catch ourselves in deep conversations about family, memories, juggling all that life throws at us and still making time for our own needs and wants. All whilst cooking up a beautiful storm of Nigerian classics.

This week’s fiery Peanut Chicken Stew, Egusi Soup, Fufu, Beef Suya, and Puff Puff is as classic as it gets. Order up and get transported to one of the most diverse and exciting countries in the world!

“As a child, I remember cooking peanut soup with my mum while we were living in Kaduna, which is a city in Northern Nigeria where traditionally, the soup is called “miyan geda”. We would eat it with fufu made out of rice flour known as “Tuwon Shinkafa. Just the smell takes me back to my childhood.”

Kicking off the start of May and long weekend Monday with some seriously delicious home-cooking. Ene introduces a West African classic – Peanut Chicken Stew, and her vegan version of Egusi Soup – a deep and richly flavoured melon seed, leafy green, and mushroom soup. It’s divine!
