Exciting news from GoatHerd Coffee.

We’re pleased to announce that we’re now serving takeaway coffee from our roastery between 9:00am and 4:30pm - Monday to Friday.

Whether you’re passing by, working locally, or simply fancy a great coffee, pop in and see us. All coffees are just £3.

Choose from espresso, cortado, flat white, americano, iced coffee and hot chocolate.

We’re also proud to announce that Goatherd Coffee is now a partner of Caye UK. We’re offering this incredible coffee machine to coffee shops, offices and hospitality businesses looking to serve consistently excellent coffee with minimal training and maximum reliability.

If you’re opening a new site, upgrading your current setup, or looking for a better coffee solution for your workplace, we’d be happy to arrange a no-obligation demonstration.

New Coffee Release: Guatemala Jabiru

We’ve secured a small lot of this exceptional coffee from the mountains of Huehuetenango, one of Guatemala’s most celebrated coffee-growing regions.

Grown between 1,500 and 1,800 metres above sea level by a group of smallholder farmers in Union Cantinil, this coffee benefits from the region’s unique combination of high altitude, warm daytime temperatures, and cool mountain air. These conditions allow the coffee cherries to mature slowly, developing greater sweetness and complexity in the cup.

The result is a beautifully balanced washed coffee with notes of butterscotch, green apple, dark chocolate, and cranberry.

Like many of the coffees we love to source, this is produced by farmers working small plots of land, often just a hectare or two in size, in a region renowned for producing some of Guatemala’s finest coffees.

We’ve only managed to secure a limited amount, so once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Our Mystery Club is coming to an end.

When we launched it, the idea was simple — to share coffees we were excited about and take people on a journey through different origins and roasts.

Whilst Mystery Club is ending, there is still time to be part of something even more special.

Starting from 1st June, members will receive either 500g or 1kg of freshly roasted coffee every single month, with a real focus on variety, unique lots and exciting coffees we genuinely love roasting.

From clean washed coffees to more experimental processes and rare varieties, the Founders Club is all about discovering and enjoying incredible coffee together with a community of people who are just as passionate about it as we are.

You’ll also get access to our private Founders Club Facebook group where members help shape GoatHerd as we grow — voting on coffees, giving feedback, chatting brew methods and being part of the journey as we continue building GoatHerd.

As part of the club, your name will go onto our Founders plaque in the roastery and you’ll be invited to our summer coffee party.

Legend says coffee was first discovered by an Ethiopian goatherd named Kaldi.

After noticing his goats becoming unusually energetic from eating bright red cherries from a wild tree, Kaldi collected the berries and brought them to a nearby monastery.

The cherries were thrown into a fire, but the rich aroma that filled the room caught the monks’ attention. The roasted berries were then mixed with hot water, creating what would become the world’s first cup of coffee.

From the mountains of Ethiopia to cups all around the world centuries later — this is the story that inspired the name Goatherd Coffee.

That number genuinely feels surreal to write.

What started as a passion for great coffee has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of, with thousands of orders sent all over the UK and beyond.

Every single order placed, post shared, recommendation made and message sent has helped build Goatherd Coffee into what it is today.

Truthfully, the last few days have been a little quieter than normal here at GoatHerd. That’s the reality of running a small independent roastery sometimes.

We always want to share the good moments, but also be transparent when things are a little quieter too.

Every order genuinely makes a difference to us and helps us keep doing what we love — sourcing and roasting coffees we’re proud of.

Although it’s not officially summer just yet, we’ve decided to launch our Summer Blend early — in the hope of a great one ahead.

Launching 8am Friday 1st May.

This is a blend we bring back every summer for a reason.

We blend two standout Colombian coffees: Colombia Dulima and Colombia Planadas.

The result is a beautifully balanced cup with notes of chocolate, caramel and blackberry — rich, sweet, and just the right amount of fruit to carry you through the warmer months.
