Greco Pi

Greco Pi Authentic Greek Souvlaki & Pies Grecoπ introduces Greek gastronomy to Hong Kong! This is your chance to indulge in the most delicious authentic Greek dishes!

After much anticipation Grecoπ (pronounced as Greco Pi) opened its doors in its first shop in Wanchai! It is remarkable that despite the impressive food diversity found in Hong Kong’s vast array of restaurants, no truly authentic Greek restaurant existed in Hong Kong up to now. Even more remarkable is that this is so, despite the fact that Greek cuisine is extremely popular in the West, in particu

lar in Europe, USA and Canada, as well as in Australia. Grecoπ plans to fill this gap adding to the diversity of food Hong Kong has to offer by presenting the finest authentic Greek cuisine. Grecoπ aims to establish itself as a popular and favorite fast food brand name within the next few years. It plans to build its success on offering superior quality and service at affordable prices. It is committed to using the finest ingredients, offering diners what they look for when dining out, that is food that is healthy & nutritious as well as delicious, yet affordable. The menu is primarily dominated by a variety of Greek souvlaki dishes, Greek salads, Greek signature dishes, Greek desserts and pies (the Greek letter π, pronounced as “pi”, well known across the world from Mathematics, is used playfully here to refer to “pie” or “pita” in Greek). Besides top quality food, Grecoπ places great emphasis in offering impeccable service as well as creating an environment that is relaxing and pleasant, placing attention to all details, from the décor to the background music, aiming to replicate the tranquil and idyllic atmosphere found in the Greek isles. Grecoπ uses only the finest food ingredients, mostly imported directly from Greece, such as: organic extra virgin olive oil from Sparta, organic Kalamata olives, free range sheep yoghurt and feta cheese from Thessaly, the finest Greek pita bread, crystal clear natural mineral water from the unspoiled Epirus mountains, the purest Greek honey from Peloponnese, handpicked herbs from mount Olympus, home of the Greek Olympian Gods, to mention just a few. The mouthwatering dishes are prepared by Greek celebrity Chef Yiannis Alifragkis. Yiannis, comes from the most charming picturesque Santorini island. Santorini has served as the inspiration for the interior and exterior design of Grecoπ, with the prevailing bright orange and dark grey colors representing the lava and volcanic soil of the famous Greek island. Yiannis has been the lead chef in some of the most renowned restaurants in Greece, such as the Mamacas restaurant in Athens and in the cosmopolitan Mykonos island, frequented by celebrities from all over the world! Enjoy the most delta-licious and nu-tritious food on earth prepared with love by Yiannis!

Apart from the ever-popular Souvla and recently revamped Santorini (formerly Rick’s), Greek food, in comparison to other cuisines, is still rather under-represented in this city. There is, however, one Greek place that few people know about, yet it has been around longer than the others, and that is…
