Pad kaprao (Thai: ผัดกะเพรา, pronounced [pʰàt kā.pʰrāw]; transl. stir-fried holy basil), also spelled phat krapow, kaprao, is one of the most popular Thai à la carte dishes.
Pad Kaprao consists of meat such as pork, chicken, beef, and seafood stir fried with Thai holy basil and garlic. It is served with rice and topped up (optional) with fried eggs or khai dao (Thai: ไข่ดาว).

It is Thai-style grilled pork on a skewer that is marinated in pounded coriander roots, peppers and garlics together and is then grilled over a charcoal BBQ
Moo ping is served with sticky rice and nam chim chaeo. Nam chim chaeo is a spicy sauce which complements grilled meat.

There’s a Thai dish known as pad ped (ผัดเผ็ด also spelled pad phet), which literally translates to stir fried (pad) spicy (ped). Typically it always includes curry paste, stir fried with some kind of meat, and often some extra fresh chilies tossed in for good measure.

You can guarantee pad ped (ผัดเผ็ด) is a dish for spicy food lovers — but don’t worry, you can still make this dish on the less spicy side if you prefer, and the flavor will still be spectacular.
