Sun is out! Lets grab some ice! Which tea to choose for iced tea?
For iced tea, you want teas that still taste good when cold, like fresh, fruity, smooth, or naturally sweet.
Fruit teas 🍓🍍🥭🍑🍋
Probably the easiest choice. They are naturally bright and refreshing, especially blends with berries, apple, hibiscus, peach, mango, passion fruit, lemon, or strawberry. They also look beautiful when served with ice and fruit.
Green tea 🍵
Lovely if you want something lighter and not too sweet. Sencha, jasmine green tea, mint green tea, or green tea with berries work really well. Just don’t over-brew it, or it can become bitter.
Black tea 🌱🌱🌱
Classic iced tea. Good with lemon, peach, orange, honey, or mint. It gives a stronger, more “proper tea” taste, so it’s great for people who don’t want something too fruity.
Herbal teas 🫖
Perfect for caffeine-free iced tea. Mint, chamomile blends, rooibos, hibiscus, lemongrass, or berry herbal blends are very refreshing cold.
Rooibos 🍊🍋🍒
Very good iced because it’s naturally smooth, slightly sweet, and doesn’t go bitter easily. Nice with orange, vanilla, berries, or lemon.
