It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news of the passing of Seamus McGovern (PatTerry).

A face who many will remember behind the bar of the former Mel-Rose Inn and in recent years Seamus enjoyed sitting on the right side of the bar, sharing stories, advice and wisdom to those who sat around him and those behind the bar.

Another light in our community gone far too soon.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Seamus’ heartbroken family as they come to terms with this immense loss. His wife Pauline, his children Yevette, Alan, Nicole & Katie, his grandchildren, brothers and sisters.

As a mark of respect, live music is cancelled over the weekend.
