11 years ago, we started one of the very first cafés in the quaint little town of Guwahati. It was difficult back in 2012, to explain to the local people what a café is and also to procure necessary raw materials to run the place. But over the years, the love from the people was overwhelming and kept us going through good times, bad times and a pandemic! From the biggest rockstars of the region like Zubeen Garg, Papon, Joi Barua to the humble mothers who drop in for some "saah" with their kids, we saw it all and loved it all. We built this entire place and every part of it with our bare hands. We painted on the walls, cut the letters of that huge signage, designed menus, handpicked playlists, we lived, loved and breathed Strawberry Fields Café❤️
Now in our 11th year, we have decided, with a very very heavy heart, to move ahead and close this place down and start a new journey. But we will continue to dream, love and cherish our little place that was built and run solely on our hard work, sweat and undying love.
This page will still hold all the pictures and posts from the past for you to see our journey and our team. We will no longer post as a café but we will continue to post about music, cinema, books and everything nerdy. Also everything we stood for, every idea and every principle that made the world a better place and made us what we were... Strike that!... Made us what we still are 🙏
