👁️ Cold weather is here... and so are the health challenges!

This chicken developed a swollen eye, a common problem that can occur during cold weather. Low temperatures, poor ventilation, dust, and high ammonia levels inside the coop can irritate your birds' eyes and make them more vulnerable to infections.

🐔 To reduce the risk:
✅ Keep the coop warm but well ventilated.
✅ Replace wet bedding regularly.
✅ Avoid overcrowding.
✅ Ensure clean drinking water and a balanced diet to boost immunity.
✅ Isolate and treat affected birds early before the condition spreads.

🏡 Semi-Free Range
