On World Environment Day, SereneTea Gardens took an important step towards a greener future by initiating our transition to organic cultivation and beginning work on a Regenerative Sustainability Plan, guided by the valuable advice of Aneez Helaya.

By working with nature, improving soil health, and enhancing biodiversity, we hope to contribute in our own small way to a healthier climate and a more sustainable future for generations to come. 🌱🍃

🌿 Proud moments for SereneTea Gardens as a Supporting Partner at the AHK Sri Lankan-German Business Forum through our membership with the Ceylon Artisan Tea Association.

From the Kick-off & Start-up Night at TRACE Expert City, to the main conference followed by the Cocktail Evening at ITC Ratnadipa, and the elegant High Tea evening at the Embassy of Germany in Colombo, we were delighted to showcase our artisan handmade teas, share tastings, and receive wonderful feedback from visitors and tea lovers. ☕🍃

Shiromi Balasuriya, a partner of SereneTea proudly participated in the very first “Ceylon Tea Walk” organized by the Sri Lanka Tea Board to celebrate International Tea Day 2026 and the 50th anniversary of the Tea Board. She represented not only SereneTea Gardens, but also the artisanal tea community through CATA — and even won a prize at the event quiz! ☕🏆

🌍 Earth Day 2026 – “Our Power, Our Planet”

Today is a reminder that caring for the Earth begins with small, everyday actions within our own communities—not just global decisions.

This April, the UK Tea Academy is running an “Earth Month Series – Tea’s Sustainability Pioneers”, highlighting tea gardens that place sustainability at the heart of their craft.

We are happy to share that SereneTea Gardens has been featured as the starting point of this series 🌱
