Hi everyone! With so many new faces joining our page lately, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little bit of the story behind the bakery.

I’m Lisa, the Lemon Lady, and I run Lemon Drop Pastry Shop. What started during COVID with just a single cookie recipe has grown into a full menu of handcrafted treats, both lemon and non-lemon alike. From signature cookies and blondies to custom cakes, every single bite is made completely from scratch.

Over the last few years, I’ve had the absolute privilege of baking for hundreds of your special moments—birthday parties, gender reveals, bridal showers, weddings, quinceañeras, celebrations of life, and so many more.
I am deeply passionate about using quality, fresh ingredients and sourcing local lemons whenever possible. For custom orders, I put a lot of thought into every design detail to make sure your desserts are as unique as the event you are celebrating.

My main goal has always been simple: Baking San Diego Happy.💛

Flavor of the week: Snickerdoodle 😋

In addition to our usual lemon rotation, we always like to give our guests a few other flavor choices. While our fudge brownies are always a fan favorite in that lineup, the Snickerdoodles absolutely stole the show this weekend! Since they aren’t a permanent staple, they are a total “blink and you’ll miss it” treat—so when you see them on the menu, you’ll definitely want to snag a box before they vanish.

No ribbon, but still a winner! 🏆

The judges at San Diego County Fair had some incredibly tough choices to make. While my desserts didn’t bring home a prize this time, I am so incredibly proud of how they turned out. My taste-testers at home still think they are number one!

Huge congratulations to all the bakers who placed. This just means I have a whole year to perfect the recipe, test out new flavors, and come back even stronger for next year’s competition.

Thank you all so much for the love and encouragement on my last post! Now, I’m off to celebrate with some fair food. 🎡🍿

I noticed a lot of new faces around here lately, so I wanted to step out from behind the mixing bowl and introduce myself. Around town, most people just know me as The Lemon Lady! 👋 I’m Lisa, the owner and baker at Lemon Drop Pastry Shop. If you can’t tell from this collage, I have a major obsession with everything citrus, bright colors, and making life just a little bit sweeter. 💛
