NEW LEVEL UNLOCKED: Wedding Cakes🩷

This is my first ever wedding cake! You can imagine the jitters, the excitement.
Not only did I have to travel 120km with this beautiful beast of a wedding cake, I had to assemble it and decorate it with pouring rain, cold buttercream and shakey hands.

But I’m absolutely thrilled about how this cake came together in the end. Patted myself on the shoulder - for sure!

This is a 2 tier wedding cake. Bottom tier -> 4 perfectly baked carrot cake, filled with roasted walnuts and succulent pineapple, with a creamy and delicious cream cheese frosting - yum!! Top tier -> 3 layers of luscious vanilla cake filled with that same delicious cream cheese frosting. All topped with my favorite American Buttercream - literally tastes like a vanilla milkshake.
