These are fresh greenlipped mussels. Tediously scrubbed hand shucked and de-bearded. Not an easy or fun task for any old sea dog let alone the girls that cook your kai. Next time you think woooo that’s an expensive mussel fritter I want you to think of the work that goes into them let alone the ingredients 🫶🏼 Then there’s the taste 🌊 best fritters in nz …. Well I think so it was my nans recipe 👵🏿
