South American Oven is a family business that began with friends sharing a passion for healthy food and ideas of bringing the food culture of South America to our community. Driven by our creativity and desire for a self-sustainable lifestyle and honouring our awareness to recycle materials we turned our vision into reality by building our first oven from a recycled oil drum (very typical in South
America). Our food stall was born in late 2013 when we joined the Ostend Market on Waiheke Island. Since then our small business has grown into a well-known food truck that also caters for functions and is now part of Harbour Eats, 2nd floor at Commercial Bay in Auckland CBD.
