A new winter loaf, long overdue and finally making its way off our "to bake" list.
Organic Dark Rye Sourdough
Made with organic stone-ground dark rye flour from Milmore Downs and naturally leavened with our organic rye starter, this loaf is fermented slowly to develop its deep, complex flavour.
The high-hydration dough is baked in a tin, giving it a softer texture than our traditional rye while still delivering everything rye lovers look for β a rich, earthy flavour, subtle sweetness, and the unmistakable aroma of caraway seeds.
Dense, flavourful and made to keep well, it's a loaf that only gets better over the next few days.
