Hello Chimi lovers!

You’ve no doubt been wondering where we’ve disappeared to this past month, and we feel it’s high time to post an update:

After more than 2 years of full time chimi-slingin’ it was time for a break. Unfortunately, for a number of personal reasons, we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to put Chimi on ice for now. Chimi will no doubt be back in future, however the finer details of exactly how that will take shape are as yet unclear.

For now we’d like to extend our sincerest gratitude for all the love and support we’ve received from you all over the past couple of years.

We’d also like to make a special shoutout to the kirbylanenz family for welcoming us into what is undoubtedly Nelsons finest street-food collective.

Viva la Vaca, What?Gnocchi, Sushi Punch, saeds_falafel, misterkaraage Nikki’sThai and victus.nz - it’s been a pleasure and an honour to work alongside such a colourful and passionate team and we wish you all the very best for the future.

We will keep the socials open and post any updates on plans to reopen again in the future.
