The Plough Hotel needs an experienced waiter/ waitress for part time work in our busy restaurant. Unfortunately one of our fantastic members of staff is moving on and we have a position (around 20 hrs per week) available soon.
*The hours are mainly weekends so this may not suit someone who would rather go out and party than work.
*Sunday is a busy day and we require you to show up with a hugely positive attitude, get the place set up, and ready to go!
*Experience means: able to carry 3 plates, able to spot customers wanting something, knowledge of drinks, an eye for detail and all the skills to give our guests a truly great experience.
*Reliability is important as we don't have spare staff to cover weekend shifts. its all hands on deck.
* Attention to detail means spotting crumbs on chairs, dirty plates in the garden bar, tomato sauce on highchairs, and napkins on the floor.
*you will need to be fit and able to move fast, clear tables fast, and think fast.
