What an incredible result from our recent adoption event with the Rotorua pound! 🐾

We’re so excited to share that Daisy, Boots and Gossip have all found loving new homes.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, shared our posts, and helped spread the word. Your support played a huge part in helping these amazing dogs find the families they deserve.

A very special thank you to Holly and the team at the Rotorua Pound for organising this event and the incredible work you do every day. Your care, dedication, and passion for these dogs is truly inspiring, and we’re so grateful to have been part of this journey. ❤️

Back to our dog walking series;
this time at a local favourite, Lake Tikitapu (Blue Lake). This gentle 5.6km loop is popular with both locals and visitors, and makes an easy, scenic walk with your dog. There are plenty of lookouts along the way, plus lots of good spots for a swim. Keep dogs on leash around the road, and during quieter times there’s space for them to stretch their legs off lead. As always, be mindful of other walkers and respect the track. It’s especially busy through summer, and parts of the roadside section can flood in winter.

Introducing Daisy 🖤
Black Labrador | Nearly 3 Years Old | Female

If enthusiasm came with four legs and a wagging tail, it would be Daisy! This happy-go-lucky girl has grown up in a family home and approaches life at full speed, whether she’s chasing a toy, making new friends, or investigating where the snacks are hidden.

Like any classic Labrador, Daisy is highly food motivated, which will make training both rewarding and entertaining. She’s still looking for a family willing to invest time in her basic training and help her channel all that excitement into being the very best girl she can be. A little patience will go a long way with this lovable whirlwind.

Daisy would be best suited to a home without young children, as her bouncy nature can sometimes get the better of her. She hasn’t been cat tested.

If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who will keep you smiling and never say no to an adventure (or a biscuit), Daisy could be your perfect match.

True to her name, Gossip always has something to say! Whether she’s sharing her thoughts on dinner time, visitors, or the general state of the world, this chatty girl isn’t afraid to make her opinions known.

When she’s not holding important conversations, you’ll usually find her doing what she does best: soaking up attention. Gossip absolutely adores people and would likely thrive as the centre of someone’s universe. She’s happiest when she’s curled up on the couch, enjoying endless snuggles and reminding you that personal space is overrated.

A particular talent of hers is spending an impressive amount of time upside down, often with all four legs in the air and not a care in the world.

If you’re searching for a loving, affectionate companion with plenty of character, a touch of sass, and championship-level cuddle skills, Gossip might just be the girl for you.
