Today, May 25, 2024, the vibrant spirit of community service shone brightly as a collaboration between BISMI Cafe and Resto, Uncle Hans' Chicken Corner, NVSU ACES-JPICE, NVSU EASTS-TSSP, and PROJECT MAAARI brought joy and support to the Mapayao Integrated School. This heartwarming outreach event, consisting of a Gift Giving, Feeding Program, and Games, left an indelible mark on the hearts of both the volunteers and the students.
Located in a quaint corner of Mapayao, the Mapayao Integrated School serves as an educational beacon for the local community. Today's event, orchestrated by a dedicated team of volunteers and organizations, aimed to help while spreading love and positivity.
The morning began with the arrival of volunteers, adorned with bright smiles and eager hearts, at the school premises. Led by the SK Representatives of Mapayao, the volunteers wasted no time in setting up stations for the Gift Giving and Feeding Program, ensuring that every student would receive a warm meal and a token of appreciation.
As the students gathered in the school courtyard, anticipation filled the air. Excitement peaked as the Gift Giving commenced, with each student receiving essential school supplies, provided by the collaborating organizations, NVSU, ACES-JPICE, NVSU EASTS-TSSP, and PROJECT MAAARI. The joyous expressions on the faces of the children mirrored the happiness felt by the volunteers, reinforcing the transformative power of giving.
Following the Gift Giving, the Feeding Program kicked off, with a delectable spread of nutritious meals prepared by BISMI Cafe and Resto and Uncle Hans' Chicken Corner. From a savory dish , the students relished every bite, their laughter and chatter echoing throughout the school grounds.
But the festivities didn't end there. With energy levels soaring, the volunteers organized a series of Games, fostering camaraderie and teamwork among the students.
As the sun began to set on Mapayao Integrated School, the echoes of laughter and the warmth of community lingered, serving as a poignant reminder of the power of collaboration and compassion in uplifting the lives of others. Today, hearts were touched, spirits were lifted, and bonds were strengthened, leaving an enduring legacy of hope and solidarity in its wake.
