We went quiet for 3 weeks… not because we gave up.

Building a café turned out to be way harder than we ever imagined. 😅

From staff hiring, construction delays, renovation challenges, and unexpected problems—we experienced them all.

But through every setback, GFC kept moving forward.

And after everything… we’re finally getting ready to open our doors. ☕💛

One thing we’re quickly learning while building GFC?

Every step takes a little more time, effort, and budget than expected. 😅

From finding a location to finding the right contractor, it’s been a journey of balancing vision and practicality.

Hopefully, it’ll all be worth it in a few weeks. 💛

After looking at countless spaces, almost giving up, and questioning if we were ready for the risk…

we found a place that just felt right.

What they don’t see are the countless tests, supplier conversations, revisions, and decisions happening behind the scenes.

Some days are exciting.
Some days are stressful.
Most days are both. 😂
