CÁLA is hiring a Public Relations Manager & Marketing Liaison.

We’re looking for someone polished, socially connected, culturally aware, and known in the right rooms. Someone who can engage with media, tastemakers, public figures, and high-profile guests with ease, discretion, and presence.

This is not just marketing.

It is perception, access, and influence.
Prior hospitality experience is not required. What matters is presence, intelligence, discretion, and access.

Some celebrations aren’t loud they arrive gently, like the hush before dusk, like laughter echoing through familiar rooms.

This Eid, Cála becomes a space where moments linger a little longer… where stories are shared between bites, and time slows just enough to be felt.

For three fleeting days, we gather not just to dine, but to remember, to reconnect, to belong.

And then, like all beautiful things, we pause.

Reserve your place at the table.
Eid Mubarak.

FROM HIRO’s VALENTINE’S ARCHIVE:

By dessert, there was nothing left to test. The table had grown quiet, the sweetness deliberate, unshared but understood. When Maris finally asked the question she had been carrying all evening, Hiro answered without hesitation, not as a promise, but as a fact. What followed was not celebration, but calm: the kind that arrives when certainty has already chosen its place.

Californian Gree Almond & Belgian White Couverture Sponge, Willamette Raspberry Brûlée, Swat Chandler Strawberry Coulis & Gelée, Wisconsin Cranberry Glaze, Kerman Pistachio Crumble, Antalaha Bourbon Vanilla Tuile, Derajat Black Sesame Tuile, Tokushima Yuzu Caviar

FROM HIRO’S VALENTINES ARCHIVE:

By the time the mains were placed between them, the questions had softened into certainty. Sharing became instinctive, passing, tasting, small acts of care that no longer needed words. What remained was warmth, questions of we are, abundance, and the quiet understanding that some bonds reveal themselves not in asking, but in how easily two people choose to share what is set before them.

MAINS:

“Do you think Chickens can fall in love, Maris?”
(for sharing)

Whole Roasted Broiler Chicken Glazed with Aceto Balsamico di Modena & Swat Acacia Honey, Swat Chandler Strawberry Sauce with Chianti Red Wine Vinegar, Sante Potato Fondant Cooked in Cholistani Brahman Beef Fat

This menu remembers the night Maris asked Hiro if he actually loved her. Hiro had invited her to dinner, and though he tried to keep it ordinary, she knew it was the end of the second week of February. Neither of them named it as an occasion, but she understood what it meant. Maris asked questions the way she always did, lightly at first. He answered without thinking. She kept asking. The questions grew quieter, less absurd. By dessert, there was only one left. “Am I yours, Hiro?” He did not hesitate. “Forever.”

You see, Hiro and Maris discovered Karachi when it was an oasis of peace, possibility and a shimmering mirage of dreams. Hiro and Maris discovered Karachi when the city ended on the magnificent cliffs of Clifton standing like sentinels, gazing across waters that reflected the saffron hues of dawn; when the white sands sang each morning with the rhythmic dance of life in the creeks snaking inland like arteries, carrying the heartbeat of the sea deep into the city's core. A Karachi whose coast was a constellation of islands, each cloaked in a veil of myth and mystery clinging to the city's edges. A Karachi, whose shores fringed with tangled mangroves where flamingos painted the sky in blush strokes. A delta cradling, hidden deep within mangrove palaces, gems whispered about in the lost tales of Arab sailors - sanctuaries untouched by time. This Karachi was small in its footprint but immense in its soul, a coastal town brimming with magic. It was a place where nature wove its threads through the fabric of daily life, where the salt-laden breeze carried the faint aroma of seaweed and the distant hum of fishermen's boats returning at dusk. Hiro and Maris discovered not just a city, but a living, breathing tapestry of life.
