One of my favorite things to do when traveling is wander into bookstores to see what they have on mushrooms. 🍄📚
While visiting Watkins Books in London, I found an incredible collection of titles, including
🍄 Chanterelle Dreams, Amanita Nightmare: The Love, Lore and Mystique of Mushrooms by Greg A. Marley
🍄🟫7 Magical Mushrooms: History, Folklore, Healing and Science by Juliette Bryant
🍄An Illustrated Guide: Mushroom Miscellany by Adele Nozedar
🍄🟫SHROOM: A Cultural History of the Magic Mushroom by Andy Letcher
🍄Psilocybe Pickers by Robert Dickins
🍄🟫FUNGI: Creative and Cultures by Kit Ondaatje Rolls
and SO many more.
What I love most is how every book explores fungi from a different perspective; science, history, folklore, art, culture, or personal stories. It reminds me that no matter how much you think you know, there’s always another layer waiting to be discovered.
Never stop learning. Stay curious. Ask questions. Pick up the book that catches your eye. You never know where a single page might lead you—or how it might change the way you see the natural world.
What’s the last book that completely changed the way you looked at something? 👇🏼
