The Ministry of Public Health said yesterday that no case of Zika virus has been detected in the country till now. However, the health sector has been alerted to be ready to deal with any suspected case among travellers retuning from affected countries. The Aedes aegypti mosquito that transmits the virus is not present in Qatar. Further studies are however going on, said the ministry. [ 325 more words. ]
