Coronabuddy = "a buddy who you stay in close contact with during these times and who you trust to be as careful as you to protect others and him/herself from the spread of the virus." We started off as travelbuddies and ended our trip as coronabuddies.
We all had more plans, more ideas and more travelgoals in the coming days, weeks and months. But we could spend our last days together and make some unforgettable memories.
Now it's time to go home. To see our family from a distance and to go in quarantine.
We are grateful for the amazing travel months we got, but sad for the ones we lost.
We are thankful for all the experiences and lessons we learned, but afraid for the next ones to come.
We will miss our virusbuddy a lot, but thinking about our next trip as travelbuddies!
Belgium, we hope we can come back home today! 🤞
