For over a decade, Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort has proudly partnered with the Phuket Marine Biological Center to help protect the Andaman Sea through the conservation of sea turtles and bamboo sharks.

Through nearly 20 years of Annual Sea Turtle Releases, we've returned more than 100 green sea turtles to their natural habitat. Our long-standing conservation efforts also led to the remarkable return of a Green Sea Turtle to Karon Noi Beach after 25 years, where she laid 84 eggs. Most recently, we released 30 bamboo sharks to help restore marine biodiversity.

These milestones remind us that when people and nature work together, meaningful change is possible.
