Do you love the Abingdon Farmers Market and its wonderful vendors? If so, consider purchasing a ticket to their wonderful fundraising dinner.

Join us for a magical evening celebrating Abingdon Farmer’s Market’s local bounty. The AFM Farm to Table Dinner will be held this Saturday, July 18, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Abingdon Farmers Market Pavillion.

Chili Lime Kitchen, will be providing a “taco bar” buffet dinner with meats and produce supplied by several of our vendors. (ORVF Chicken and beef!)

All proceeds from the dinner will go towards keeping AFM vendor fees low, so that our local farmers, prepared food vendors and crafters can continue to have access to this incredible Market at reasonable vending fees.

Proceeds from the Silent Auction, items donated by many of our vendors, will go directly towards the Kids Bucks Program, often referred to as "Farm Fresh Kids", that provides youth vouchers to spend on fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables, eggs, and honey. This program is designed to encourage healthy eating and teach children how to shop directly from local farmers. This summer, we have already given 487 kids $10 in tokens that are spent directly at the AFM.

We welcome guests to bring their favorite regional wine, cider, or beer.

Come enjoy some live acoustic music, by Wolf Hills Jazz Quintet, a great meal, some amazing silent auction items, and a community of people who love the market.

Tickets are $65 each, or sponsor a table of six for $360 (a savings of $5/person).

Change of plans, been thrown a curveball today and I’m not going to be at the market this afternoon. Sorry for the inconvenience. I’ll see you this Saturday morning.

I’ll be set up for sharpening today from 3-6 at the Abingdon Farmers Market. Tuesdays are a great time to come by, I’m typically not quite as busy and I can get you taken care of while you wait.


I still have some everbearing strawberry plants available. Tuesday price is $3 per plant until they’re sold out.
