Good evenin', my family. ❤️⚜️
This is one of the hardest posts I've written yet.
As I get ready to leave the Albuquerque market, I just want to say thank y'all from the bottom of my heart. There aren't enough words to express how grateful I am for every single person who stopped by, shared a meal with me, brought your family and friends, left an encouraging word, sang karaoke with me, danced with me, or simply believed in this Louisiana girl's dream.
When I came here, I was just hoping to share a little taste of home. What I found was so much more than customers...I found kindness, friendships, hugs, laughter, and a community that wrapped its arms around me and made me feel like family.
Cooking has never just been about food for me. Every dish I made was seasoned with love, memories of home, and a little piece of my heart. Knowing that y'all enjoyed it, came back for more, and supported me through this journey is something I'll carry with me for the rest of my life.
Saying goodbye isn't easy. My heart is heavy because leaving means saying goodbye to people who have truly become part of my story. I'll miss seeing your familiar faces, hearing your stories, and serving y'all every chance I got.
Thank y'all for every dollar you spent, every prayer you whispered, every post you shared, every recommendation you made, and every bit of love you poured into me. You helped keep this dream alive, and I'll never be able to thank y'all enough.
Please know this isn't goodbye forever—it's just "see y'all later." No matter where life takes me, a piece of my heart will always belong to Albuquerque because of the incredible people who made this journey so special.
May God bless each and every one of y'all and your families. Thank y'all for letting me share my Cajun roots, my passion, and a little piece of my soul through every meal I served.
I love y'all more than words can say.
With all my love,
Bridget and the girls!!!❤️⚜️
