I have been quiet on here but I promise I’m working hard behind the scenes!

The process to become a home processor takes a lot longer here, so I’m itching to get back to baking.

With the new move and new shipping platform, I wanted to give my logo a little glow up.

I am stuck between these two and can’t decide what vibe I want to go with. I need help 😩

I have been really nervous to bake in an electric oven since I’ve only ever really used a gas oven, and wasn’t sure how the cook times would vary.

Such a more even cook, no rotating pans half way. Feels like a win today.

Had to make the fan favorite, s’mores 😍

Waiting on my kitchen inspection here and can’t wait to start shipping these!

Yesterday we said goodbye to our first home.

This room is where I started my dream - when I started Make It Sweet everyone said I’d have no customers on our little dead end road. I did it anyway and it quickly evolved into a line of people down our driveway on Saturdays and cars lined down the road 30-40 minutes before we opened. So many all nighters baking all I could in my little kitchen and praying to keep growing.

You guys showed up for me week after week and I’m so grateful for all of you! Coming soon will be sweet treat shipping subscriptions and a bakery & market in NC ❤️🏡

No one prepares you for how emotional it is to move out of your first home. Or maybe I’m just slightly ✨dramatic✨

We always have known we wouldn’t be here forever, but as we approach our move out date I can’t help but think about all of the memories we have made here.

Our first home, 2 businesses, 2 babies, countless remodels, bbqs, and sleepless nights. All of our babies firsts. The first home no one could take from me.

Telling myself that our new home will hold so many new memories, and will allow me to grow this business to what I want it to be.

Change is hard but so is settling. ❤️

I was in Walmart yesterday getting groceries with the kids when a lady next to me got a call and had it on speaker, the person on the phone said their kid (the ladies grandkid) was sick at school and needed to be picked up.

The grandma didn’t even say she was grocery shopping, she said “I’ll be right there”, put her groceries back on the shelves and left.

I can’t wait to be that parent/grandparent for my kids someday.

If you have people like this in your corner, don’t take them for granted, especially if you’re a working mom, or a mom trying to build your business.

And if your village is just you and your husband, keep doing what you do everyday for your babies. ❤️
