Spooky season is here, but it's not all scary. There's more treats than tricks!
First Wednesday of the month October 7th is National Coffee with a Cop Day, 7am to 9am Belton PD will be in our shop. It's a great time to get to know your local law enforcement and ask any questions you might have for them.
Thursday October 8th, 5pm is the homecoming parade on Main Street. Let's show up to cheer on the Belton schoolers.
Sunday October 11th is the annual car show on Main Street from 11am to 3pm, along with the kids cruise. Bring the kids in their little cars.
Tuesday, October 13th is the Bed Turning event hosted by the Belton Historical Society from 6pm to 8pm. We don't know what a "bed turning event" is either -we're all in the same boat on this- But it'll be fun! You should show up and find out what it's all about along with us. As far as we know, it's about showing off quilts. Sounds cozy!
Saturday, October 17th is the Witchy Walk on Main from 4pm to 7pm. Girls grab your friends and have a night out on Main Street enjoying the sights, smells, and shopping.
Saturday, October 24th is the final car cruise on Main for the year from 4pm to 7pm. It's also the trunk or treat night on Main! Bring your kids, collect the candy.
And of course, every Saturday has the chess meet up with the Cass County Chess Club from 3pm to 5pm. All levels and ages are welcome. Beginner intermediate advanced. Or if you just want to come and watch.
And every Thursday night is game night from 7pm to 11pm. Feel free to show up with your friends bring your own board games. Currently there's a couple groups of D&D. And there is a growing interest in Magic the Gathering. If you're interested in MtG add your name to the form: https://forms.gle/9WWpph3gqrmumGRE6
Keep your spirits high and your mug full, cheers! ☕
