Spring has a way of asking more from your body than you expect 🤍

Even when everything around you feels light and new, your body can still be trying to catch up — adjusting, responding, doing more than you realize.

I’ve learned that this season isn’t just about enjoying it, but about supporting myself through it.

Slowing down a little more, paying attention a little earlier, and choosing small, consistent ways to stay grounded.

Because sometimes feeling better isn’t about doing more… it’s about supporting your body in quieter, steadier ways.

If this season feels like a lot for you too, you’re not alone ✨

People used to know their plants in a much more everyday kind of way.

Calendula for skin that needed a little extra care.
Peppermint for upset stomachs.
Yarrow and goldenrod hanging to dry because someone always ended up needing them eventually.

I think about that a lot when I'm in the kitchen making things for the shop. Slowing down to make things by hand.

To know where the herbs came from.
To let things steep slowly.
To make something useful for loved ones.

That's really all this is. Small, steady care passed from one set of hands to another.

I've been growing calendula in the garden for a while now, and every time I harvest it, I think about how something so simple and bright has been quietly used for generations.

It's also one of the least fussy plants I grow.

I plant Orange King every year. It handles less-than-perfect soil, a little neglect, and still comes back with those big, sun-bright blooms that catch your eye every time you walk past. This brilliant flower soothes irritation, supports repair, and calms inflammation.

I harvest it by hand, then slowly infuse it into oil.

That infusion is part of what goes into Ruby's Remedy🌼 our small-batch salve made for the moments when your skin just needs a little gentleness.

Not all teas are created equal, and your body can feel that.

When I first started blending teas in my kitchen, I realized pretty quickly that the question isn't just "what herb is good for me," it's "what does my body need right now?"

Some days it's quiet focus - that's where Clarity comes in.

Some days you feel stuck, heavy, like nothing's really moving - that's Flow.

Some days you're just trying to come back into balance - that's Harmony.

And then there are the nights your body won't let go of the tension it's been holding - Soothe and Drift were made for that kind of rest.

It changes day to day, and it's supposed to.

Your body isn't static, so your rituals shouldn't be either. This is just one way to start paying attention to your body again.

If you're not sure where to start, just notice what you are feeling today. That's usually the answer. Swipe through to meet each one, and drop a comment below, which one is calling to you today?

I didn't originally make this to sell.

It started as a Christmas gift, something I made in my kitchen for family, wanting it to be simple and actually useful. I wanted to make something that would be used and not just sit off to the side forgotten.

It looked a little different back then, but the intention hasn't changed.

Now it's the one that stays out on the counter. It's what I reach for after being out in the garden when my hands feel dry and overworked, or when I've gotten a little too much sun, or those random bug bites you didn't notice until later.

I didn't plan for it to become something my family always keeps within reach, but it just happened. Just by being something that actually works.

Flow was created for moments when your body feels heavy or in need of gentle movement.

This blend supports circulation, lymphatic flow, and a renewed sense of lightness — especially during seasonal shifts or after periods of stress and depletion.

With wildcrafted blackberry leaves, calendula, oat tops, lemon balm, and red clover, it helps encourage movement, ease stagnation, and bring your body back into balance.

Perfect for:
🍃Lymphatic support and gentle detoxification
🍃Seasonal resets and feeling lighter
🍃Daily support for energy and flow

Tasting notes: earthy, slightly sweet, with a soft floral finish and a hint of lemon brightness.

There's a kind of waiting I've had to learn.

Not the impatient kind - where you're watching the clock, hoping something changes overnight - but the slower kind. The kind where you make the tea, set it down, and let it sit. Where you trust the herbs to do what they were made to do, quietly, over time.

I think about that a lot when I'm in my kitchen.

Nothing I make is fast. The plants don't rush. The roots don't hurry. And somewhere along the way, I stopped expecting myself to either.

If you've been feeling like healing should happen faster, I understand that. I've felt it too. But sometimes the most nourishing thing you can do is stay with it...and keep showing up, a little at a time.

That's what the tea is for. It's on the site when you need it. 🫶

This blend carries the kind of care Ruby lived by - quiet, steady, and deeply intentional.

She knew that real nourishment never came from quick fixes, but from the small things we do consistently over time.

A simple ritual.
A daily return.
A softer way to care for your body.

Sip slowly, and let it meet you where you are.

I've been thinking about my mom today, and the way she showed up when I was growing up. Not in big, obvious ways, but in the ones that just became part of everyday life.

Meals on the table without asking, rides already figured out, someone always paying attention even when you didn't realize you needed it, phone calls just to make sure you were following the recipe just right.

My grandmother was the same way. Nothing about it was ever made into a big deal. It was just how they took care of their family.

I don't think I understood it then, but I see it now. Especially in the moments where I catch myself doing the same things without thinking.

It's quiet, but it stays with you.

Mom, I see it now in a way I didn't before, and I'm really grateful for it. And Meme, I wish I could sit with you and tell you the same.

Happy Mother's Day 🤍

National Nurse's Day 🩺

I always come back to this photo. It was taken at my nursing pinning ceremony - my grandmother, my mom, and me.

At the time, it just felt like a proud moment, something I had worked toward. But the older I get, the more I see what it really holds.

Three generations of nurses, all in one frame. Not planned...just how life unfolded.

Care was never something we talked about much, but it was just there. In the way my grandmother showed up, in the way my mom did, and eventually, in me too.

Now I see it everywhere. The way I tend, the way I create, the way I care for people in a different kind of space. It all comes from the same place, and somehow it always leads me back here.
