Mac Daddy will be serving up hot mac & cheese and hot cocoa at the Worcester Common Oval today

Bundle up and make plans to head downtown for a weekend of ice skating at The Oval Ice Skating Rink, powered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. We’ll be open:

⏰Saturday from 1 to 6 p.m.
⏰Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m.

Admission for skating is $6.00 and free for children under the age of 5. Skate rentals are available to rent for $6.00. Please note, a valid ID is needed for all rentals.

Special thanks to our community partners at the Downtown Worcester Business Improvement District, UniBank MA, and the Worcester Railers HC for their support in making The Oval Ice Skating Rink an affordable and family friendly destination.

Dancing with the Dinosaurs Dance-a-Thon
Sunday August 17, 2025
3:30 - 4:30 pm

Join us on Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 3:30 - 4:30 pm for a Dance-a-thon! Participants can enter Museum grounds for free starting at 2:30 p.m.

Help raise money for the development of the Change the World exhibit, which will be part of the Early Childhood Science Learning Center at the EcoTarium (late 2026). This exhibit is in memory of Anthony Putnam, a little boy with big dreams of changing the world for the better. Anthony enjoyed going to the EcoTarium and loved dinosaurs, so this is a great way to honor his memory and raise funds for this exciting exhibit at the Museum.
