Brookline feels most like home when the table is full.

Shared plates, strong pours, familiar faces, and a team that welcomes everyone with open arms. That’s the spirit of philoxenia, turning everyday dinners into something that feels like community.

This is our village life.

Every cocktail on this menu starts with a question.

What happens when mastiha meets black pepper and lemon oil? How do you turn spa water into a carbonated highball? What would a Mai Tai taste like if it traveled from Greece to Polynesia?

This season’s program pulls from the flavors and rituals of Northern Greece, then stretches them somewhere unexpected. Dill infused tequila. Acidified coconut water. Fenugreek, guava, lemongrass, smoke, citrus, herbs.

Built with intention, rooted in story, and made for long nights around the table.

Get off the grid. Get back to real face time.

Memorial Day weekend in Brookline. Long lunches, grilled lamb on the table, refills before you ask.

Brunch and dinner all weekend. Come hungry.

There’s something special about the moment the team finally sits down together to taste what’s been built behind the bar.

Earlier this month, our Bar Vlaha family gathered around the table to try the cocktails featured on our Spring Menu, trading thoughts, stories, and strong opinions with every round.

While the Thermae Fizz got plenty of love in this video, by the end of the tasting, nobody could agree on a favorite.

Now it’s your turn. Come by, order a few, and join the debate.

A long weekend in Brookline, gathered around the table.

Sun through the windows. Another coffee being poured. Smoke from the grill drifting onto the street.

Warm bread passed around. Eggs, lamb, shared plates, a second bottle opened somewhere in the middle of it all.

The kind of meal that slowly turns into the afternoon.

Join us for brunch and dinner Memorial Day Weekend.

The patio season cocktail: unlocked.

Mountain herbs, bright citrus, pine, honey, smoke, and slow pours inspired by Northern Greece.

Our spring cocktail menu was made for long evenings at Bar Vlaha. The kind where one round turns into three, the table keeps filling, stories get louder, and nobody’s in a hurry to leave.

Spring doesn’t sit still in the mountains, it climbs.

The flocks move higher, the air shifts, and the table follows with whatever the land offers along the way. Greens give way to something a little heartier, the fire burns a little longer, and everything is meant to be shared after a long day of moving.

You’ll catch that rhythm in the way our kitchen cooks, guided by instinct, by fire, by season.

Come gather around the table and taste where it’s taking us.

The Bar Vlaha patio is ready.

Weather permitting, we’re outside.

A table in the sun, plates meant for sharing, and time that stretches a little longer with each pour, each bite, each story.

This is spring at Bar Vlaha.
