🎉 Good news! We managed to bring in a fresh crop of our Blue Courage Farms shiitake mushrooms despite the Mississippi heat this week. It wasn’t easy, but we’re excited to finally have fresh shiitakes available at the market this Saturday!

🍄 Shiitake mushrooms are back! We expect to have fresh shiitake available tomorrow at both the Starkville Community Market and Meridian Earth’s Bounty.

This summer heat has made shiitake production especially challenging, so supplies may be limited throughout July. If you’ve been waiting for them, be sure to stop by early!

Many use mycelium grown on grain, meaning the final product may contain significant amounts of rice, oats, or other grain material. They don't actually use mushrooms, but rather the mycelium instead.

🍑 Mississippi peaches are BACK and we tripled supply this week after selling out in just a few hours last time.

We’ve got a couple fresh Lion’s Mane and some beautiful Pink Oyster mushrooms available this week. The cold nights slowed the shiitake down a bit, but they’ll be back rolling strong soon.

We’ll also have all the usuals.
