🚨📢With a heavy heart, we have an announcement to make.
Today, October 30th, will be the final day of Busby's.
There are some things you pour so much of your heart into that it's hard to imagine ever having to walk away from them. Busby's has been one of those things for me.
When we opened our doors, I never could have imagined just how much this little place would come to mean to me. What started as a small drink shop became something so much more. It became a place for conversations across the counter, familiar faces walking through the door, laughter, friendships, and a community that made us feel like we belonged.
And somewhere along the way, Busby's became a little piece of my heart.
This has not been an easy decision. In fact, it's one of the hardest I've had to make. But sometimes, no matter how much you love something, you have to recognize when it's time to close a chapter.
I wish I could say things were ending differently. There were still so many plans, ideas, and dreams I had for this place. And letting go of those is perhaps one of the hardest parts.
But more than anything, I want to say thank you.
Thank you to every person who walked through our doors, purchased a drink, ordered lunch, shared our posts, recommended us to a friend, or simply stopped by to say hello.
Thank you to those who made Busby's part of your daily routine. To the ones who encouraged us, prayed for us, and supported us through every season. You may never know how much those little acts of kindness meant.
I have always wanted Busby's to be a place where people felt welcomed, valued, and loved. A place where, even if you were having the hardest day, you could walk through our doors and leave feeling a little lighter.
Our motto has always been, "Where your cup will always be filled."
My hope is that, in some small way, we were able to live up to those words.
While our doors may be closing, I will always be grateful for the opportunity to have served this community.
Thank you for allowing Busby's to be part of your lives. It has truly been a privilege to have you be part of ours.
