Our Story

Bon Appétit @ MIT brings restaurant quality dining to campus. We believe in serving only the freshest food made from scratch using authentic ingredients. Food that is alive with flavor and nutrition, and created in a socially responsible manner.

We currently service all five house dining halls: McCormick Hall, Howard Dining Hall, Next House, Simmons Hall, and Baker House. This summer we’ll take over multiple MIT retail dining locations, bringing locally sourced, sustainable, and innovative food and beverage options to Forbes Family Café, Koch Café, R&D Pub, Café 4, and Bosworth’s Café.

Our retail concepts include Indian cuisine developed in partnership with James Beard nominated Chef Raghavan Iyer, Asian style noodle bowls, dim sum, plant- forward entrees, sustainable seafood options; and artisan salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. These flavors are amplified in our house dining halls through interactive culinary stations and state of the art equipment; such as an authentic Tandoor grill, wood-fired ovens, a “Major 8” allergen-free station, steaming bowls of Pho, stir-fry, house-smoked meats, and more.
