Worried about the recent Cyclospora news? We wanted to share a little about how we care for the ingredients that go into your smoothies and bowls. 💚

At Melonberry, food safety has always been a priority—not just because of what's in the news, but because it's the right thing to do.

🍓 We thoroughly wash our fresh produce. 💚 We use our ozone produce cleaner as an extra cleaning step. 🧼 We clean and sanitize our trailer, equipment, and prep areas throughout service. 🫐 Our smoothies are made primarily with frozen fruit. 🌱 We source locally whenever possible and stay up to date on food safety alerts and recalls.

If an ingredient we're using is ever affected by a recall, it simply won't be served.

If you'd rather skip the fresh fruit on your açaí bowl for now, we completely understand. We can top your bowl with commercially frozen berries instead, or keep it simple with your favorite dry toppings like granola, pistachio butter, peanut butter, pistachios, coconut flakes, and h**p hearts. Just let us know when you order—we're happy to accommodate.
