We are two farm enterprises in Eastern Pottawattamie County Iowa who have come together to form a collaborative CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). Community Supported Agriculture is becoming a popular way for consumers to buy fresh, local, seasonal food directly from farmers. A CSA works by offering "shares" to the public consisting typically of a box of produce each week. Interested consumers

purchase the "share" entitling them to a weekly box of seasonal produce for the farming season. Advantages to the Consumer:
*Steady supply of local, ultra-fresh produce.
*Exposure to new vegetables and types of cooking.
*The opportunity to visit the farm once a season.
*Develop a relationship with the farmer(s) that grow your food.

Hello Loess Hills cCSA Supporters!

As the weather warms, we want to inform you that we will be taking a break from hosting a CSA in 2017 with the hope of finding a farm to partner with in 2018.

In the meantime, Old Tree Farm (Mike's farm) will be hosting a nearly identical CSA with all the same great produce and a few new EGGcellent additions. You can find all of the details here:

If you sign up during the month of February, you can save an extra $20 off of your base share price. Consider partnering with Old Tree Farm soon because it won't be long before our fields are full of delicious green produce once again!
