On the morning of our 7th anniversary, it’s hard not to be emotional, happy, relieved and thankful for all that’s taken place over that time horizon. We’ve grown from one little stand (that we had no sure confidence would work) to 3 beautiful stores going on 4. We’ve served more than a million drinks – a MILLION! We’ve had dozens of employees and handfuls that have grown into shift leads and managers and key leaders in our little organization. We’ve had team members have babies and graduate from college and start dazzling new careers. So many special moments and feats and celebrations. And we’ve also had hardship, loss and heartache. Dear customers who passed away. Jason and Kelly each lost a parent over those years and we missed time with those loved ones, time we can’t get back. And we’ve also watched life change and grow and mature, with our children achieving various milestones and friends achieving myriad successes. We’ve watched each of our store communities flex and change and strengthen. And through it all, through mistakes, through successes, through ups and downs, we’ve tried to remain true to who we are, just a small local company trying to do our best in the community we live in, loving you, serving you, bringing a smile, offering a beautiful drink, being the small local company down the street created to bring joy to Charlotte. We love you Charlotte! We’re so thankful for you and for 7 years. Thank you. 😊
