I’ve loaded up on garlic, carrots, potatoes and onions from Harvest Thyme Farm. I also grabbed some 1/2 off pumpkins to roast the seeds. Tomorrow is their last day open for the season and our friends are due a well deserved rest. Thank you Greta & Brendan for your servitude to our community with all your hard work.

I also snagged my last loaves of sour dough bread until next spring.

Delivered a lunch for 30 to the COPESD office today.
GF chicken and rice soup, both regular and GF cheddar garlic drop biscuits, garden salad and both regular and a GF apple crisp.

Since I didn’t take any pictures, I’ll share some comments I received.

Hosted dinner tonight for the Riggsville Christmas Parade Committee meeting (which I’m part of)
Why didn’t I take more pictures?
I served smoked brisket (thanks to Andy Blaskowski for smoking it for me) Instant pot mac & cheese, baked beans, potato salad and two desserts, upside down apple pie and apple crisp with icecream.

While Bugum & Papa enjoyed our time in Northport visiting Cerise, Silas and Lucy, it was time to head home. Yesterday was spent emptying out our camper for the season, cleaning house and so much laundry.

I’m back in the kitchen this morning and will be preparing for my next upcoming events, catching up with some inquiries and working on some fun things I’d like to try for this winter.

We were blessed with the arrival of Lucille Lee on Monday night. Chris and I got the call, finished loading up the camper and stopped by the kitchen to load up all the freezer meals I’d made our daughter Taylor & family.
Tuesday morning we loaded up Cerise & Silas and along with the Scott grandparents, we got to meet Lucy. She’s just the sweetest.

I’ll be back in the kitchen midweek next week, in the meantime we’ll be hanging out playing with grandbabies and enjoying Traverse City and the Leelanau Penninsula area.

Congratulations Sara & Jared!

Beautiful wedding today for these two at The Headlands in Mackinaw City.

On the way up my sister Mellisa and I dropped a dinner off to the crew for Knaffle’s Tent Rental.

Both jobs had baked chicken, sauerkraut & kielbasa, garden salad, green beans, mashed potatoes & gravy and rolls & butter. Knaffle’s asked for chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

Wouldn’t you know that this is the only picture I took?

A great big thanks to all of my clients this week, I’m one tired but thankful girl. ❤️

We catered a dinner for a private wedding for a wonderful family at a beautiful VRBO on Mullett Lake tonight.
The brides request was a turkey dinner with all the sides.
Roasted turkey breast,
sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes & gravy, maple bacon roasted brussels sprouts, corn & caesar salad.
