Today was the last day of school for my youngest of four daughters, Friday night she'll graduate and it's such a bittersweet feeling. While I'm sad, I'm also really excited, not only for her, but myself included. I sometimes joke with people that I'm tired, I've been parenting for 32 years, Carley was heading off to preschool when my oldest daughter graduated high school. Not that you ever stop parenting, but there's something to be said about getting there to the finish line.
I'm trying to play catch up as I was out all last week sick, come to find out, I had walking pneumonia. So day 3 of antibiotics are making me feel like a new woman. So I'm playing catch up, graduating my last child, catering graduation parties and preparing to host & cook for my own party then college orientation. My next 10 days are going to be busy.
Then there's June and wow, it's going to be a jam packed month!
I hope you all have a nice weekend although the weather isn't looking ideal with a chance of rain Sat/Sun (like we need more rain up here😏) but starting Monday it looks like summer might arrive.
