Another busy weekend in the kitchen.
Retirement party Thursday, a funeral today, a 30th/1st birthday party tonight and tomorrow a 60th birthday cookout.

Working all 4 events solo sure makes me appreciate my family & friends that help me when they’re able.

I will be working remotely tomorrow to touch base with clients who have events in July then I’m hoping to turn my brain ...

I will be working remotely tomorrow to touch base with clients who have events in July then I’m hoping to turn my brain off and relax. Last 4th I was recovering from knee surgery and spent it sitting on the couch with ice packs and painkillers. Thank you ice storm 2025 for that lovely fall which resulted in a torn meniscus. Total knee replacement is in my future.

I’m truly thankful for all the love & support you’ve shown HCBM these last three years.
I hope you have a safe and wonderful 4th of July!!

Thank you to my sister in law Tricia Vandermark Lenarcic for sharing this recipe with me many, many years ago. This French vegetable salad hasn’t appeared in any events but I knew it would be perfect for a bridal shower on Mullett Lake.
