And we are back after a trip up to Bristol, CT for the Bristol BBQ Bash! This one was a little different as cooked some One Meats and then teamed up with Grandpa Val’s BBQ for the masters competition!

We came out swinging for one meats:
Chicken: 🥈(A big surprise cooking thighs for the first time)
Ribs: 🥇(love those Prairie Fresh Pork from Smoke’n Dudes Barbecue Supply)

And then on Sunday, we helped GPV secure a 5th place overall. Congrats to Smokin' Hoggz BBQ for grabbing the win and FATED BBQ on the RGC!

Such a fun weekend and can’t wait to do it again!

After a bit of a layoff it is comp week once again!

We have a fun one on tap this weekend as we head to Bristol, CT for the Bristol BBQ Bash presented by Campground BBQ. If you didn’t know, this takes place at the Lake Compounce campground and Amusement Park!

But brothers Joe and Jeff Rouse have been able to overcome the geographic challenge to become one of the nation’s top KCBS Backyard teams in recent years and, this year, are making waves in the four-meat Masters series as well.
