The C**n Rapids Lions Club continued its generosity toward the community yesterday when they presented the C**n Rapids Bayard Food Pantry a check for $650. This money will go along way toward meeting the increased food insecurity needs for the communities. The need has only increased in the last year as more and more families find they need extra support, and the pantry finds the cost of purchasing the food has increased significantly. The CRB food pantry seeks to combat hunger and food insecurity in the communities by providing food and serve it with dignity, and respect,and compassion. Lions Club members making the presentation include: Steve Cadwallader ,Lucas Richardson , Courtney Cadwallader, Dave Schroeder, Kevin Dorpinghaus and Annie Rudolph. Food pantry board members shown accepting the check include: Valorie McCool, Vicki Dentlinger, Nancy Duncan and Connie Strasser.

We are so fortunate to have a great community with so many great volunteers. Principal Seth Streebin and a great bunch of young men from the CRB School helped us unload truck. Thank you to all our volunteers!!!!
