Not all heroes wear capes! But we are oh so thankful for the experienced veterinarians and staff at The Animal Health Clinic in Covington. Unbeknownst to us, our 6 month old little puppy snuck a box of Pop-Its off an outside table while we were unloading groceries. We noticed his behavior was off - called the vet - and they had us come right in. They treated him for toxic ingestion and by that evening (and some delicious activated charcoal) he was getting back to normal. We also discovered the remnants of the pop-its box under his dog beg.
I was so relieved, y’all know I had to make some patriotic thank you’s.
