District Eight Hospitality was created by a chef and an operator who believe great hospitality is both an art and a strategy.

Chef Maurio brings years of culinary expertise, developing chef-driven menus and kitchen operations that deliver quality, creativity, and consistency.

Marisa brings more than two decades of experience in hospitality, branding, marketing, and restaurant operations — helping businesses build stronger concepts, unforgettable guest experiences, and profitable programming.

Together, we created District Eight to partner with restaurants, hotels, and hospitality brands looking to evolve, reset, or grow.

From restaurant turnarounds to menu development, beverage programs, catering, and experiential events, our goal is simple:
Create hospitality concepts that attract guests, generate revenue, and leave a lasting impression.

A new chapter.

Afternoons Kitchen began as a passion project rooted in creativity, flavor, and the belief that food has the power to bring people together. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who supported that journey and shared meals, moments, and experiences with us along the way.

As our vision for hospitality has grown, so has the opportunity to expand what we offer.

Today we’re proud to introduce District Eight Hospitality — a chef-driven culinary and beverage consulting company specializing in menu development, bar programs, hospitality strategy, and elevated catering experiences.

District Eight reflects the next evolution of our work: partnering with restaurants, hotels, and brands to create hospitality concepts that are both memorable and successful, while continuing to deliver curated food and beverage experiences for private and corporate clients.

The mission remains the same: great food, great drinks, and great company.
