Dallas has a new reservation worth making. 🍸🍝

just opened in the Design District, bringing its modern Southern-Italian menu to the former Meddlesome Moth space — and it absolutely delivers.

The martinis alone are worth ordering. Ice-cold glasses, perfectly chilled drinks, and they even swap your glass midway through to keep everything crisp and refreshing.
And the vodka sauce is easily the star of the show. From the crispy provolone with vodka dipping sauce to the vodka pasta, every single bite was unreal. Don’t skip the margarita pizza either — thin, crispy, light, and ridiculously good.

Originally founded in Venice, California by Chef Jackson Kalb (Top Chef), Ospi is now serving lunch, brunch, and dinner in Dallas.

Summer menu season is officially worth the trip to Suburban Yacht Club 🍹☀️

Located on the Boardwalk in Plano, Suburban Yacht Club just launched their new Yacht Rock summer menu featuring soft serve margaritas, crispy shrimp tiny tacos, and a new Girl Dinner option.

The Soft Serve Margarita is a must try:
Blanco tequila, pineapple sorbet, lime, orange liqueur + Tajín — frozen, creamy, and dairy-free. You can also make it a swirl with strawberry, mango, or chamoy.

Also on the menu:
🌮 Tiny Tacos with crispy shrimp tacos dorados, creamy salsa verde & habanero ranch
🍸 Girl Dinner 2.0 with a TJ Chicken Caesar salad or wrap, fries, and your choice of a Yacht Rock Margarita, Dirty Martini, Cosmopolitan, or Watermelon Frosé

If you haven’t been yet, Suburban Yacht Club is one of the best patio spots in Plano for happy hour. Think waterfront views, tiki-inspired cocktails, Tex-Mex favorites, and a fun summer atmosphere without leaving DFW.

The summer menu is only here for a limited time, so now’s the time to go.

New fast-casual chicken spot on Greenville 🍗

From the team behind Nuri Steakhouse, Flock & Fresh is now open at Old Town Shopping Center serving crispy or grilled chicken with tenders, sandwiches, and salads made fresh to order.

We tried the crispy tenders and the original chicken sandwich and already want to go back for the grilled chicken and salads next. The sauces were a standout too - curry ranch, cajun buffalo, sweet Korean, and BBQ - plus lighter dressing options like yuzu citrus and avocado ranch.

The space is bright and modern with a cozy patio and a few fun chicken coop-inspired touches.

Tried Dudley’s Sports Grill and it’s one of those spots that actually lives up to the “neighborhood bar” label.

It’s newer to the Knox/Henderson area, but already feels established — relaxed, unpretentious, and easy to settle into. During the week it’s low-key enough to grab a drink and hang without it feeling crowded or loud. Come game day, it fills in with a solid local crowd, every TV dialed into something worth watching, and just enough energy without being chaotic.

The setup is simple but done right: plenty of seating, good sightlines to the screens, and the kind of atmosphere where you can stay for one drink or a few hours without thinking about it. Service is quick, drinks are consistent, and it doesn’t feel like they’re trying too hard — which works in its favor.

Late night is what really stands out:
Thurs–Sat (10PM–2AM) — $5 High Noons, $5 Happy Dads, $3 wells. That’s one of the better late-night deals you’ll find in Dallas, especially in this area.

If you’re looking for a reliable sports bar in Dallas that’s casual, well-priced, and actually enjoyable to spend time in, this is a strong option.

New on the menu: the Crunchy Bandit.

Bandito’s take on a crunchwrap, but way more dialed in - layered with quality ingredients, packed with flavor, and finished with that perfect crispy shell that actually holds up. It’s rich, crunchy, and hits all the classic notes without feeling basic.

Only available Monday through Wednesday! Pair it with a margarita and it’s a wrap (literally). Find it at Bandito’s in University Park by SMU — known for its Austin-style Tex-Mex, strong drinks, good music, and a high-energy crowd that keeps the place buzzing.

The rooftop pool + cabanas? Stunning. The perfect place to unwind, sip a cocktail, and catch a Texas sunset 🌅🍸 And everything—from the rooms to the amenities—was spotless, cozy, and designed for ultimate comfort.

We grabbed brunch at Oma before heading out and it was the cherry on top. Fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to end such a relaxing stay.

Plano just got a good one. Desperados’ new location is officially open 🌮

A Dallas staple for over 50 years, this family-owned spot has been doing authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex right since 1976. I stopped by the new Plano location to check it out—everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The guacamole lives up to the hype, and the Desperados tacos are a must.

And yes, the margaritas are non-negotiable 🍹

Y’all… Joe Leo’s is now serving the VIRAL soft serve margaritas 🍹✨ and I’m not exaggerating when I say they are SO worth the hype.

The texture is unreal — thick, creamy, and literally tastes like soft serve ice cream but with that perfect margarita flavor. Plus the salt + sugar rim just takes it to another level 🤌

A newer Dallas spot that’s actually worth trying!

The Reserve at The Highland is tucked inside The Highland Dallas and it’s one of those places that works for just about any plan—date night, dinner with friends, or even a last-minute reservation when you want something reliable.

They focus on prime steaks, fresh seafood, and seasonal dishes, plus a strong cocktail menu. And the fact that they run happy hour every single day from 5–7 PM makes it even easier to check out.
