Last CSA box for the month of July! Thank you to everyone who participated!! This week we did whole grain rolls with homemade blueberry syrup, rainbow eggs, cabbage, two different cucumber varieties, garlic, Swiss chard, some hit peppers, sugar snap peas, and a simple summer bouquet. 🌻🌅🫶🏼

Lots of goodies coming up through August. 🙌🏽 I love putting these boxes together. When I lived in Houston, they were $70!! 😱 That’s why we meet the north country at only $30 for freshly picked produce the morning of your pick up!! A little supplement to your weekly meal planning. 😉

🌽🫘🎃 The Three Sisters Garden: Corn, beans, and squash have a unique symbiotic relationship in a Native American garden. Corn offers a structure for the beans to climb. The beans, in turn, help to replenish the soil with nutrients. And the large leaves of squash and pumpkin vines provide living mulch that conserves water and provides w**d control. Each plant supports the growth of another and results in higher yields than if each plant was grown alone. Family planting. 🤍

A little update on the Austree Willow cuttings as they came along nicely. They’re getting planted today. Going to feed a lot of animals someday!

Rocky Top Lettuce fresh from our farmstead is off to the Hunner’s Market in Clayton, NY. If you missed out on the garden Sorrell greens last week, they’re restocking and adding mixed greens of our baby kale, spinach, mustard, and sorrell. So yummy. Support local. ♥️
