43 years ago, our story began under a simple canopy tent… and that’s exactly where The Canopy got its name. ❤️

What started with two best friends working the pit, serving up fresh pit beef and homemade recipes, has grown into something we could have only dreamed of — a family legacy built on hard work, tradition, and an incredible community.

From the very first slice to the recipes we still proudly serve today, so much of what made us who we are remains the same. The smoke, the flavor, the friendships, and the passion behind every meal have carried on for over four decades.

Today, we wanted to share some nostalgic photos from those early days so you can see just how far this journey has come. Every sandwich ordered, every event attended, every recommendation shared, and every smiling face that has walked through our doors has helped us grow into what we are today.

We truly cannot thank you enough for supporting our dream and helping turn it into a legacy that continues to live on 43 years later. Being part of this amazing community means everything to us, and we’re excited to continue growing and making memories with all of you for many more years to come.
