Good news...They did not have to cut or remove any muscle or move it, so he will be able to walk right away instead of having to learn to walk again. however it will take about 2 weeks to tell if skin graft will take successfully due to there is scar tissue from radiation that may not allow the skin to connect. If that ends up being the case she will do a 6 - 8 hour microscopic surgery to attach another skin graft and fatty tissues to get blood flow through the leg so it can heal. We are still at the hospital but hoping to be able to get back home this weekend. Then hope to begin our journey with several weeks of immunotherapy to fight this cancer

Today is operation #4... May God Bless Ed with Positive results and may he learn to walk again soon.... then he will be starting immunotherapy as soon as his body allows. God has us on a Journey we are not familiar with at all but we let him in control and just take it day by day. Somehow at the end of this Journey I feel we will be able to Witness to others our Journey of Faith with God. Today as I Pray for him i will Pray for All of you as well for you finding God and Faith too ❤️ Head Up and Stand Strong and let the day begin.

Surgery finished for now.. wasn't able to do cosmetic part of surgery due to he will come home and patiently wait to see if any additional growth starts happening. They feel they got it all but may be microscopic pieces still there. He will be assigned a home nurse during this time and will let you know when next surgery is scheduled....

His unexpected surgery was a blessing. We thought they were removing one mass in his groin area to find yet another mass in his Upper leg that was removed as well. Thank You God for a Successful Surgery.. looking forward to getting home! Thanks again for all prayers. Now one week of recovery and then operation #2. Very Grateful for our Summer Shack Families. God Bless All of You and while I'm praying for my husband recovery... I'll pray for All of you as well that health and safety is among you... ❤️

Hello to All our Summer Shack Families...It comes with HEAVY HEARTS.... we normally don't put our personal life on social media but doing it to call Everyone who will join us for PRAYERS.. PRAYERS ARE POWERFUL!!!! My husband Ed who is your Saturday evening cashier, was diagnosed with Cancer in the fall of last year. He has recently finished up 5 weeks of Radiation and patiently waiting for his operation. Now before that operation can take place another discovery exists. We are scheduled for Emergency Surgery today to remove another growth, then he gets 1 week recovery just to go into 2nd operation. The weather has also now joined in so we are just asking for Prayers all the way around. He is my Life, He is my Best Friend , He is an Amazing Husband, He is an Amazing Father and Pap and I need All the Prayers we can get . THANKS TO EVERYONE IN ADVANCE AND THANK YOU GOD FOR ALWAYS BEING WITH US!!! Summer Shack may be delayed this year until we finish this journey that God has for us. God has been with us through alot in our lives and not sure what he has in mind now, but time will tell. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU. We'll see you when we can...

Thanks to Everyone who joined us this Labor Day Weekend. We have enjoyed every one of you. We will be closed next weekend to attend an activity with our Church back home but just look for us from here on out as we won't have a set schedule. Again Many Thanks
