Being a new company, we love hearing feedback. One thing we’ve heard over and over is how good our coffee tastes… before you even customize it.
That means a lot to me because when I started BYOB Coffee & Dirty Soda, I had one goal. I didn’t want this to be a gimmick or a place you tried one time just because it was different. I wanted people to actually enjoy the coffee and want to come back. I wanted our drinks to stand on their own before you ever added a flavor.
I honestly think we nailed it.
A big reason for that is our local coffee roaster. He has an awesome coffee bean, he’s a great guy, and we always end up having good conversations. He supplies a few other local coffee trailers too, and I genuinely hope they continue to do well. They have a great product. We just do things a little differently at BYOB, and I think that’s a good thing.
The more I do this, the more I realize this business isn’t just about selling coffee. It’s about the conversations, meeting new people, seeing familiar faces, and making friends. A lot of our customers don’t feel like customers anymore. They feel like family.
When I get the trailer and start setting everything up, I catch myself thinking about how lucky I am. I built this from the ground up, and now I get to step into something I truly enjoy whenever we’re open. It doesn’t happen every day, but when it does, it means a lot.
Thank you to everyone who has supported BYOB, shared a post, told a friend about us, or stopped by for a drink. It truly means more than you know.
I hope we’re around for a lot of years making great drinks, having great conversations, and putting smiles on people’s faces.
And finally… thank you, Grandma. You probably never knew it, but you inspired this whole journey. I hope I’m making you proud.
