✨Blake Farms 10th Annual Chili Cook Off Recap✨

Did we bring home this year’s trophy? Not this time. But, we did scoop up a whole lot of votes, shared laughs with so many familiar faces from last year, and soaked in the spice of some seriously amazing chili creations!

One of our favorite competitors snagged the win, which made us super happy! And we were table mates with the sweetest local gals!

Nothing better than cheering on friends while surrounded by a gazillion chili loving taste testers!

This weekend is Blake Farms 10th Annual Chili Cook Off and guess who’s ready to show off last year’s “Overall People’s Choice” wooden spoon!

Tomorrow, the kitchen will transform! Aprons on. Music up. Pots bubbling. Spices swirling. A heroic splash of briny brilliance doing a backstroke through the chili like it owns the place…

We are beyond “dill-lighted” to have delivered The Pickle Jar to JP Graphics & Wraps in Freeland yesterday morning!

Thank you - Grammie, for watching our kiddos while we traveled! We are so blessed to have her as one of our biggest cheerleaders throughout this process!

Thank you - Auntie Crazii {my sister} for the referral! We had a handful of options, but from the first point of contact, Jon has been so easy to work with! I have already informed him to expect happy tears when we pull away this coming weekend…one step closer to the beginning of such an exciting life chapter of ours!

Lastly, thank you - Auntie Ann, for thee cutest emotional support pickles!! I made sure to bring them along on yesterday’s adventure! {I’m thinking they need names!!}

There have been a whole lot of check marks placed on our ever evolving list of to-do’s…all leading to the big launch of The Pickle Jar!

We have selected a July date to host our ribbon cutting ceremony, paired with a soft open! {Stay tuned for further details!!}
