Iโve had a lot of new faces at my window & on socials since I started this business, and I realized I never did a proper introduction postโฆ so, if youโre new here, hi!! My name is Mackenzie & Iโm so glad youโve found my cute little coffee shop on wheels ๐ฅฐ
Iโm 22, & I started this business last year after graduating from college with a B.S. in Digital Marketing (where I also had the amazing opportunity to play college volleyball!). Iโm from NW Ohio & now serve there & in central Indiana, where my boyfriend is from.
Iโve always been an avid coffee drinker & when I had the idea to open this little trailer, I knew I was not only going to give it my all, but more importantly, name it after one of the most influential woman in my life.
JBC is named after my grandmother, โJune Bugโ. She passed away a few years ago after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She was the strongest, kindest, hardworking, dedicated, & loyal woman Iโve ever met. If you had the opportunity to know her, it really was a privilege. She loved her family so immensely. She was an amazing grandmother, mother, wife, sister, mother-in-law, & friend. She had the best homemade cooking Iโve ever ate & she loved shopping (probably where I get it from ๐
). She also loved drinking her cup of coffee in the morning (usually with some hazelnut creamer)!
She is my why behind almost everything I do in life. When people ask me about the name, I love getting the opportunity to talk about her ๐ฅฐ
Aside from my nana, my family & boyfriend are the people that keep me going. I wouldnโt be able to do this without their support.
If Iโm not in the trailer working, thereโs about a 100% chance Iโm at the race track. Dirt sprint car racing has been in my family for generations. Both of my grandfathers owned & worked on cars, my dad drove them for a living, my uncle worked on them, & my brother drives them now (needless to say, itโs in my blood ๐). & I wouldnโt have it any other way!! ๐
So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for being here, supporting my dream, & the legacy of the woman who inspired it all. Every cup served means more than you know ๐คโ๏ธ
